CEO

Emily Morton serves as the CEO of CVFCU, and it’s easy to see why she has earned the title. Emily has worked in credit unions since she was 17 years old, and we’ve been lucky to have her in our CVFCU family for the past five years. In addition to her extensive credit union experience, Emily also attended California State University Fresno and Pacific Coast Banking School.

As our CEO, Emily is involved in everything and anything, such as maintaining the financial health of our credit union, searching for growth opportunities, and providing members with the best possible products to ensure financial security. She loves the mission and atmosphere at CVFCU, stating, “Our members and staff are like family — we all watch out for each other.” She also enjoys hearing stories from our firefighters about the calls they go on, so if you’ve got an exciting story about your time on the job, you’ve got to tell Emily!

When she isn’t working, Emily enjoys running after her three kids and husband. Emily fondly said, “They either keep me young or cause me to age prematurely.” Emily is also an avid reader and traveler, and she cannot refuse Italian food (understandably so).
